If I Said To You... by David Bronson, $6. Magazine size, 6 pages, full color.

David Bronson is relatively new to making comics, and checks in with a highly refreshing and unique take on the form. At first appearing auto-bio/memoir-esque, Bronson flips the baggy/droney nature of those genres on their head by creating something clipped and poetic. This comic feels like a THOUGHT, but a very structured and meticulous thought. The drawing is poetry charged as well, as nothing is arbitrary. Things are worked out in the page, and worked out with precision. This experience of reading this comic is not easily replicated, and it's a trip well worth taking. We look forward to more from this cartoonist.
