Reporter #3 by Dylan Williams, $3, 24 pages. Black and white. Published by Sparkplug Comic Books

I think the time has come for this series to really be read again. So much of Dylan's philosophy and passion for comics is known through his publishing of other peoples work and from his statements. But his true undiluted vision of comics is found within his actual work. Reporter combines genre with deeply personal storytelling styles, there is a clear embrace of vagueness as a driving narrative force. It's hard to do justice to these comics in writing, they are (like everything Dylan involved himself in) deeply steeped in the past, present and future of comics. Straight from the heart.
