Skim Lizard #2, $1.50. Edited by Puppy Toss. Black and white. 22 pages, published in 1993

Skim Lizard was discussed in But is it...Comic Aht? #3, as the flagship anthology of the comics collective Puppy Toss. Puppy Toss was a radical force for cartooning in the Bay Area in the early 90s, and it included Dylan Williams as one of its members. Williams went on to found one of the most important publishing houses of the 2000s, Sparkplug Comics. The ideological/spiritual roots of Sparkplug can be found within the pages of Skim Lizard, which must also be stated, is a damn good anthology, full of beautiful inky comics straight from the heart.
